Welcome Parents

Parent Teacher Fellowship

School Lunch

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you to Polk County Christian School. On behalf of Parent Teacher Fellowship, we would like to thank you for choosing Christian Education for your family. Every parent of PCCS is a member of Parent Teacher Fellowship and is invited to meetings, events, and many other opportunities for involvement. Being involved with PTF is a wonderful way to build relationships and get connected with other parents and teachers.

The Parent Teacher Fellowship’s (PTF) objective is to honor Christ while developing community, communication, appreciation and financial support between parents, teachers and students of PCCS. Each parent is encouraged to take an active role in school functions and contribute to their child’s total learning experience.

What is the PTF?

Parent Teacher Fellowship is all Parents and Grandparents with a child enrolled at PCCS in Pre School through 8th grade, all Teachers and Staff of PCCS and Students.

What does the PTF do?

We conduct fundraisers that help provide funds for things that tuition does not cover; we host events and offer extra help and support to our teachers. We want to glorify God by equipping our teachers and students with the necessary tools in education and services to make our school the best it can be! PTF strengthens the unity among parents, students, and staff.

Why should I be involved in the PTF?

It’s been proven time and again that a successful school and education includes parent involvement. The best way to teach our children and others is by example. We want our kids to learn who Jesus is, to love and serve Him and others.

PTF is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get involved and demonstrate to their children first-hand the importance of education and service.

Whether coordinating classroom activities, helping conduct a school fundraiser or assisting in school events, being involved empowers parents with understanding and appreciation for the quality of education their child is receiving at PCCS.

Your involvement is NEEDED

How can you help?

By offering your time, gifts and talents in service to the PTF, you can share in shaping the brightest and best future you can imagine for our teachers and children at PCCS.

By attending the PTF meetings, getting involved in at least one or more activities and by participating in the work to raise necessary funds for the PTF, you can help set and achieve the goals for the PTF.

If you want to be a part of setting and realizing the future vision of PCCS for our teachers and children through the efforts of the PTF and want your voice heard, then attend meetings, serve and support the PTF. Your involvement is both welcome and needed! Meetings will be monthly and only about a hour, the dates are noted on the calendars located in the binders. There is something for everyone whether you are able to do a little or a lot!

We are excited about what God has planned for PCCS this year!

Peter 4:10-12

10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
