We would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you to Polk County Christian School. On behalf of the Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF), we would like to thank you for choosing Christian education for your family. Every parent of PCCS is a member of the Parent-Teacher Fellowship and is invited to meetings, events, and many other opportunities for involvement. Being involved with PTF is a wonderful way to build relationships and get connected with other parents and teachers.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship’s (PTF) objective is to honor Christ while developing community, communication, appreciation, and financial support between parents, teachers, and students of PCCS. Each parent is encouraged to take an active role in school functions and contribute to their child’s total learning experience.

What is PTF?

Parent-Teacher Fellowship consists of all parents and grandparents of at least one child enrolled at PCCS in preschool through 8th grade. PTF also includes all teachers and staff at PCCS.

What Does PTF Do?

This group conducts fundraisers that provide funds for anything that tuition does not cover. PTF hosts events and offers extra help and support to our teachers. We want to glorify God by equipping our teachers and students with the necessary tools in education and services to make our school the best it can be. Parent-Teacher Fellowship strengthens the unity among parents, students, and staff.

Why Should I Be Involved in PTF?

It’s been proven that a successful school and education includes parent involvement. The best way to teach our children and others is by example. We want our kids to learn who Jesus is, to love and serve Him and others.

PTF is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get involved and demonstrate their first-hand knowledge about the importance of service and education to their children.

Whether coordinating classroom activities, helping conduct a school fundraiser, or assisting in school events, being involved empowers parents with understanding and appreciation for the quality of education their child is receiving at PCCS.

PTF at PCCS is a NECESSITY.
Your involvement is NEEDED.

How Can You Help?

By offering your time, gifts, and talents in service to PTF, you can share your ideas and efforts in shaping the brightest and best future you can imagine for our teachers and children at PCCS.

By attending PTF meetings, getting involved in at least one or more activities, and participating in the work to raise necessary funds, you can help set and achieve PTF’s goals.

If you want to be a part of setting and realizing the future vision of PCCS for our teachers and children and want your voice to be heard at this school, you should attend meetings and commit to serving and supporting PTF’s endeavors. Your involvement is both welcome and needed! Meetings are generally about an hour long and are held monthly; the dates are given on the calendars in your PCCS binders. There is something for everyone whether you are able to do a little or a lot.

We are excited about what God has planned for PCCS this year!

1 Peter 4:10-12

10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
