Enrollment to Begin

Enrollment for the 2012-2013 School Year for Polk County Christian School will begin as follows:

Monday, February 13th: Re-enrollment for current families. Re-enrollment packets were sent out on February 10th. Re-enrollment packets can be downloaded on the websites under downloads.

Thursday, March 1st: Open Enrollment begins. We begin accepting enrollment for all students on this date. Enrollment information will be updated on the website prior to March 1st.

School Board Forum

Please come be a part of the School Board Forum on March 8th, from 6-7pm. The forum will be held at the school. Results of the Parent Surveys will be discuss and a time of open forum will take place as well. We hope to see you there!

Valentinograms

The middle and high school students are selling Valentinograms to raise money for Alpha House Pregnancy Resource Center. You can choose to have a combination of a note, flower, and / or candy sent to your child on Valentine’s Day (the Monday before for MWF preschool). You also have the option to send a postcard or email version to someone away from the school. They are in the front lobby during morning drop off, lunch and afternoon drop off. Come by and help support the students as they raise money for Alpha House!

2012 PCCS Spring Auction

The PCCS Spring Auction will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012! The Auction will be held at the First Assembly Activities Building. Tickets on sale now in the school office. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Call the office at 777-2330 to make your reservations today!

Share Your Christmas

Every year we are blessed to be able to provide some food and gifts for local families for Christmas. This year, as in the past, we have 2 families we will be sharing our Christmas with. We have a list of items we are collecting. Please, if you have the means, take some time to help us provide for these families. The list of food items is on a document here on the website or available at the office.

Please remember that we are supplying food for two families. Share your Christmas asks that we provide each family with one weeks worth of food. In the past we have been able to bless the families with enough food for at least two weeks. Let us continue that great tradition! We need the food to the school by Tuesday, December 13th.

We also have some gifts left to buy for our families. Check the display on our display case for stockings with gifts we are needing to buy, take one, buy it, and return it to the school by December 13th. Bring them wrapped or unwrapped with the stocking attached for identification.

Light The Park

On Monday, December 12th PCCS will be collecting donations at the Bolivar Light the Park. Come to Dunnegan park and for whatever you wish to donate, you can drive through and see the Christmas light displays. Proceeds on that night go directly to PCCS. If you signed up to work, thank you!
